Compound Growth Is Close
Growth will not be linear; it will be exponential. The reason is that with every additional user, the platform becomes increasingly more valuable to creators because it means the Creator Payout Pool increased further incentivizing them to create on Upspace and invite their audience in. This leads to more creators joining and creating content on Upspace making the platform increasingly more valuable to users attracting more users and then more creators and the cycle continues as it compounds exponentially only limited by the size of the market which is arguably the fastest growing and one biggest markets in the world - health.
Here are the subscriber numbers if we were to double month to month:
40 (End of Dec 24') -> 1000 (Jan) -> 2000 (Feb) -> 4000 (March) -> 8000 (April) -> 16,000 (May) -> 32,000 (June) -> 64,000 (July) -> 128,000 (August) -> 256,000 (Sept) -> 512,000 (Oct) -> 1,024,000 (Nov) -> 2,048,000 (End of Dec 25')
Note: I do not like projections early on because, whether better or worse, they are always wrong.
Although possible, I am not saying we will double month to month. But if we were to grow 50% month to month, we would be at 100k subscribers by this time next year. That would be $1,299,000 MRR, which is $15,588,000 ARR.
To feed the flywheel, we would probably continue to contribute 100% of revenue back to the creator payout pool (normally 50%), which would set us up to have tremendous growth in 2026. To put it in perspective, top-tier creators are joining, creating, and inviting their audience in when last month's payout pool was $4.2k and this month will probably be about $12k. Imagine the incentives for creators to join, create, and promote when the payout pool is $1.2 million per month.
If anyone wants to get involved ahead of this growth, please reach out. We will keep you all updated.
Thank you,
Shaughnessy
